All flags and banners fly from the Struggleville sailboat tonight!

Last night was one of the better nights of my life- met a girl and snuck into a secret 6am Jay-Z show at tiny Center Stage in Midtown.

I've been lucky to have seen a bunch of shows in my short life that hold special significance.

This was one of them.

Many many thanks to lots of people. you know who you are.

Coming to mind immediately are a few Shins shows, playing keys with the Roots/Snoop/many others the night before the Grammys, Van Morrison at both the Wiltern and the Hollywood Bowl, Paul McCartney, playing percussion with P-Funk, seeing the reunited Fugees show outside at Hollywood and Vine, David Byrne/Arcade Fire, the Rolling Stones, Mos Def and Talib Kweli Are Blackstarr, SXSW, All Tommorrow's Parties, Coachella, all the Bonnaroos, Phish in Miami for NYE and the Hampton run, Arthurfest and Arthurball, Bob Dylan, Olivia Tremor Control in both LA and the last Orange Twin show, REM show on the Athens Courthouse steps, going to Yoko Ono with Julian and John from OTC, Gnarls Barkley, Bloc Party/the Kills at the Palladium, Ted Leo, multiple Widespread Panic shows, multiple OutKast shows, Herbie Hancock, Blood Brothers house party, We Are Scientists house party etc. etc. etc.
